AMS was engaged by Buildcorp to deliver custom balustrade for the Sleeman Aquatic Centre Ski Ramp.
The Ski Jump is the first year round outdoor aerial training venue in the world. The ramp simulates a snow ski ramp with water sprinklers to mimic a low friction ski ramp. The 7-ramp, 220t steel structure reaches 35m at its highest point.
AMS constructed custom designed polycarbonate safety balustrade to ensure the safety of the athletes using the ramp. The installation required the development of an innovative mobile platform given the gradient of the ski ramp.
